In the TV pilot episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, a team of superheroes including The Flash, Arrow, Hawkgirl, White Canary, Atom and a couple of criminals (Captain Cold, Heatwave) – band together to fight the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) and his powerful army. Dr. Stein aka Firestorm (Victor Garber) is wary of the group, particularly of Atom, “a billionaire with more tech than he clearly knows what to do with.” In Atom’s defense, he does know…most of the time. In the pilot episode, Atom’s suit “falls off and lands in the wrong hands.”

Atom Dc Ryan Choi

Atom is portrayed by Brandon Routh (pronounced like ‘south’). The 36-year-old University of Iowa graduate is best known for his roles on Arrow and The Flash (The Atom/Ray Palmer), The Exes (Steve), Chosen (Max Gregory), Partners (Wyatt Plank), Chuck (Daniel Shaw), and in the 2006 film Superman Returns (Superman/Clark Kent). DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8pm on CW.
